Job Description

Physician Assistants need to help our Veterans in Yuma AZ! Amergis Yuma, AZ 85366 Posted about 21 hours New We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
  • Physician Assistant (PA)
  • to join our team in conducting disability evaluations for veterans under the
  • Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA)
  • contract. This is a meaningful opportunity to support our nation's heroes by providing objective medical assessments that contribute to their disability claims process.
  • Responsibilities:
  • + Conduct thorough disability examinations in accordance with VBA guidelines.
+ Review medical records and document findings using standardized reporting tools. + Perform physical assessments and diagnostic evaluations as required. + Provide impartial medical opinions without engaging in treatment or prescribing. + Ensure timely and accurate completion of all documentation and reports. + Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient exam workflows.
  • Qualifications:
  • + Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of practice. + NCCPA certification required. + Experience in primary care, occupational health, or disability evaluations preferred. + Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills. + Ability to work independently and maintain objectivity. + Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
