Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Physician's Assistant who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. While previous cardiology experience is highly preferred, we also welcome candidates with strong clinical foundations, a positive attitude, and a willingness to grow alongside our experienced team at Advanced Cardiology Center in Apple Valley, California. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and dedicated to providing high-quality care while supporting the mission and long-term growth of our practice. Physician Assistant -
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive patient care in a cardiology-focused setting Manage an average of 25 patients per 8-hour day Approximately 4 patients per hour for follow-up visits Approximately 3 patients per hour when including consults (with 2 follow-ups per hour) Clinical Duties Supervise and assist with diagnostic testing, including: Cardiac stress tests Lexiscan (pharmacologic stress) studies PET scans Interpret and analyze: EKGs Pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) checks Provide follow-up care for hospital-based procedures, including: Angiograms Angioplasty and stent placement Pacemakers, loop recorders, and defibrillators Schedule & Work Structure Full time 2 days per week, with flexibility up to 3 days per week (based on experience) Workdays determined by office scheduling needs in coordination with employer W-2 employment status preferred Coverage Expectations Participate in weekend rounding approximately once per month Additional compensation provided on a per-patient basis Provide holiday coverage as needed No regular evening or night shifts required Compensation Salary commensurate with experience Compensation may increase based on higher patient volume
Employment Options Full-time:
40 hours per week Scheduling Workdays will be determined in coordination with the employer Specific days of the week to be discussed and finalized based on practice needs
