Grea t Base Pay & Uncapped Bonus Plan ! Current CA license is required. A candidate with at least 2 years orthopedic experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care under the supervision of orthopedic surgeons. The role includes evaluating, diagnosing, treating and managing patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions . Primarily for Sports Medicine, and Pain Management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct preoperative evaluations and medical optimization for total joint patients Manage outpatient clinic including new patient evaluations, postoperative visits, and routine follow-up care Provide patient education regarding surgical procedures, recovery, rehabilitation, and medication Order and interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays, MRI's, and lab work Prescribe medications and physical therapy as appropriate Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as applicable Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR system

Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner NCCPA certification (for PAs) or board certification as an NP (FNP/AGACNP preferred) DEA registration and prescriptive authority Previous orthopedic or surgical experience preferred, especially in joint replacement

BLS/ACLS
