  • Full-time Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and compassionate new graduate Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Urgent Care team.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop clinical skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality care to patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries. The PA will work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and educate patients of all ages. Essential Responsibilities Obtain comprehensive patient histories and perform physical examinations. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common urgent care conditions, including: Upper respiratory infections Influenza and COVID-like illnesses Ear, nose, and throat complaints Minor injuries, strains, and sprains Lacerations and wound care Skin infections and rashes Urinary tract infections Minor fractures and musculoskeletal conditions Order, interpret, and review diagnostic studies including laboratory tests, EKGs, and X-rays. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and clinic protocols.
Perform minor procedures such as:
Suturing and wound closure Splinting and casting Incision and drainage Foreign body removal Administer immunizations and injections. Educate patients regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care. Refer patients to specialists or emergency departments when higher levels of care are needed. Complete accurate and timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current or eligible PA licensure in the state of practice. NCCPA certification (or eligibility if pending). Current BLS certification.
Preferred:
Clinical rotations in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Pay:
$150,000.00
