Job Description

Job Title:
Physician Assistant for Orthopedic Surgeon We are seeking a skilled and compassionate part-time Physician Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional orthopedic care to our patients. There is opportunity for this to advance into a full time position. The successful candidate will work alongside our board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon to provide pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care for patients. The immediate need is for a clinic-based physician assistant/ associate to work in clinic on Tuesday and Thursday. There is an opportunity for surgery assistance and operating room exposure if candidate has an interest.
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the orthopedic surgeon. Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, MRIs, and blood tests. Assist in the operating room during surgical procedures. Provide patient education and follow-up care post-surgery.
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current PA license in the state. Knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions and treatments. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. If able to speak Spanish or Mandarin, that would be a plus.
