In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients effectively. Your expertise will help ensure optimal health outcomes while providing exceptional patient-centered care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your clinical skills and enthusiasm can make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews. Assist in diagnostic evaluation using medical imaging, laboratory tests, and clinical research data collection. Document patient encounters accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Provide education on health coaching, medication administration, discharge planning, and public health initiatives. Qualifications Valid Physician Assistant license with current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-9/10 systems. Proficiency in EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner; telehealth experience is a plus. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques; experience with public health initiatives preferred.
