We support this by equipping our Physician Assistants with the resources they need to handle administrative tasks, documentation, and coding, so our doctors can focus solely on delivering exceptional patient care. Your Role as a Physician Assistant As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:
Lead Health Initiatives:
Conduct Annual Health Assessments, Wellness Visits, and Well Child Visits.
Provide Preventive & Diagnostic Evaluations:
Perform consultative assessments that may include medication and medical history reviews, physical exams, and health screenings, using appropriate documentation and test results to support diagnoses.
Offer Non-Prescriptive Services:
While not responsible for prescribing or altering treatment plans, you will focus on clinical evaluations, screenings, and documentation to support quality care and enhance care team collaboration.
Deliver Specialty Screenings:
Provide diagnostic services such as spirometry, diabetic eye exams (DEE), bone density screenings, and other preventive tests as ordered by the health plan.
Document Precisely:
Use an intuitive iPad-based clinical workflow and our state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to ensure detailed and compliant documentation.
Embrace Continuous Learning:
Stay current with medical guidelines and contribute to ongoing professional development. Typical visit duration is approximately 30 minutes , offering meaningful one-on-one engagement with patients.
What We're Looking For Qualifications:
Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited program Active state license and current BLS certification Possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI) PA-C certification and state-specific licensure
Preferred:
EMR experience and Medicaid enrollment

Flexible Work Options & Environment Schedule Flexibility:
Choose from full-time or part-time roles, with 4-hour or 8-hour shifts available. Day and evening shifts offered.
Rotating Saturday Schedule:
Candidates must be available to work at least one Saturday per month to meet Sacramento coverage needs.
Diverse Work Settings:
Serve patients in both clinic and home health environments.
