One California Job Summary and Responsibilities Comprehensive Patient Care:
Delivers full-scope patient care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management, emphasizing education and care coordination.
Diagnostic & Treatment Authority:
Orders, interprets tests, prescribes medications, and performs routine procedures within their scope of practice.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration & Documentation:
Works closely with a team for care handoffs and meticulous documentation in the electronic medical record.
Patient & Family Education:
Educates and counsels patients and families on managing health conditions, adapting plans as patient health changes.
Professional Conduct & Communication:
Maintains high professional standards, communicates effectively with patients and colleagues, and responds promptly to messages. Adherence to
Policies:
Complies with all organizational policies, safe medication practices, training requirements, and CommonSpirit values.
Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of accredited advanced practice training program (Physician Assistant) 1-2 years as Advanced Practice Provider in Primary Care, Similar or Same Medical Specialty Discipline.
PA:
CA BLS - CPR
within 90 days DEA license
Preferred Qualifications:
ACLS
