PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OR NURSE PRACTITIONER FOR INTERNAL MEDICINE PRACTICE AFTER HOUR CARE MONDAY - FRIDAY 5PM-9PM DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES ESSENTIAL DUTIES
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our internal medicine practice for after-hours patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated provider looking for a flexible evening schedule in a supportive outpatient setting. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. Provide same-day and after-hours urgent care for established patients. Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans. Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies as appropriate. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations. Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Collaborate with the supervising physician and office staff to ensure continuity of care. Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of California. DEA registration and prescribing privileges. Experience at least 1 year in internal medicine, family medicine, urgent care, or primary care preferred. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with the physician as needed. We Offer Competitive hourly compensation.
