Job Description

Our board-certified dermatologists, physician assistants and staff are dedicated to providing the best treatment for all aspects of skin concerns utilizing the most advanced technology available for the best possible care and outcome for our patients. Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervising Physician Assistant to lead clinical teams and deliver exceptional patient care across clinic settings. This role is a unique hybrid of high-level clinical oversight and strategic management, designed for a professional with 7+ years of clinical experience looking to move into a leadership career track. You will provide clinical and workflow support to a growing team of 30+ Physician Assistants . While our practice specializes in Dermatology, prior experience in Dermatology is not required ; we provide comprehensive specialty training for the right leader. Your primary goal will be ensuring clinical excellence through hands-on mentorship, rigorous quality management, and operational efficiency. Bonus potential in addition to salary. Key Responsibilities 1. Quality Management & Chart Review Conduct systematic chart reviews to ensure clinical accuracy, compliance, and adherence to practice protocols. Analyze clinical documentation to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement. Provide constructive, data-backed feedback to the PA team to elevate the standard of care. 2. Clinical Workflow & Support Spend approximately 60% of your time traveling to various sites to provide onsite clinical support and workflow optimization. Bridge the gap between corporate direction and frontline clinical reality. Help offload "Tier 1" management tasks from ownership, focusing on analysis and recommendation development. 3. Team Leadership & Development Mentor a team of 30+ PAs, fostering a culture of professional accountability and continuous learning. Translate raw clinical data into actionable information for physician leadership to drive decision-making. Lead with a "solution-first" mindset: When faced with system or regulatory limitations, identify the endpoint and propose, "What we can do is..."
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant.
Specialty:
Dermatology experience is not required ; we are looking for a strong clinician and leader we can train in our specific specialty.
Leadership:
Demonstrated interest in expanding leadership skills and management knowledge.
Travel:
Ability and willingness to travel 60% of the time to various clinical sites.
Communication:
Exceptional ability to provide feedback that is firm, professional, and non-threatening. The Quality Management Cycle This role focuses on a continuous loop of Observation (Travel), Assessment (Chart Review), and Growth (Feedback) to ensure the practice maintains its reputation for excellence as we expand into new states.
Pay:
$165,000.00 per year
