Physician Assistant

We are growing our clinic and are seeking a part-time PA to work Tuesdays and Thursdays in-office plus your choice of schedule for telehealth appointments. There is paid training for the specialty, no on-call, and we have a primarily adult patient population! You could not ask for a better position as a Physician Assistant than with us. We are currently seeking a part-time Physician Assistant. The ideal candidate is a well-balanced diagnostician who will counsel, educate, and motivate patients. Under the supervision of one of Connecticut's leading Neurotologists, you will be responsible for providing a variety of medical and procedural services including taking patient histories, providing physical exams, reviewing, and revising treatment and therapy plans, administering medications, ordering imaging, and other duties while ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and clinical policies and procedures. Otology experience not required; extensive specialty training is provided as part of our onboarding. Qualifications 1. Current or eligibility for PA licensure in the state of Connecticut. 2. Physician Assistant must be board certified from the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) at the time of hire and maintain certification throughout employment. 3. Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required 4. The physician assistant must be registered with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for scheduled II-V Controlled Substances 5. Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred The Physician's Assistant will function effectively as a member of the healthcare team in respect to interpersonal relations, team skills, and written and oral communications.
