What they do
A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description
Qualifications Required:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Current PA or NP license in the applicable state NCCPA certification (for PAs) or national board certification (for NPs) DEA registration (or eligibility) Current BLS certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong clinical judgment and organizational abilities Preferred Experience in Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or Family Medicine Experience managing adult patients with chronic medical conditions Familiarity with Athena EMR is a plus Compensation & BenefitsWe value our providers and offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:Salary:
