We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-centered Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established Internal Medicine/Primary Care practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients while practicing high-quality, evidence-based outpatient medicine in a supportive and collaborative environment. We pride ourselves on offering an exceptional work-life balance with a predictable weekday schedule, no call responsibilities, and no weekend hours. Position Highlights Full-time, outpatient position Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM No evenings No weekends No call responsibilities Closed on all major holidays Established patient panel with strong physician support Modern office utilizing Athena EMR Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Provide preventive care, annual wellness visits, and routine follow-up appointments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and imaging. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and scope of practice. Educate patients on preventive health, disease management, and lifestyle modifications. Manage common chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, thyroid disorders, asthma/COPD, and other adult medical conditions. Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Athena EMR. Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications Required:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Current PA or NP license in the applicable state NCCPA certification (for PAs) or national board certification (for NPs) DEA registration (or eligibility) Current BLS certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong clinical judgment and organizational abilities Preferred Experience in Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or Family Medicine Experience managing adult patients with chronic medical conditions Familiarity with Athena EMR is a plus Compensation & BenefitsWe value our providers and offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:
