Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description

Physician Assistant (PA) Jacksonville, Florida Full-Time $115K-$125K per year A growing healthcare provider is seeking a Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across outpatient and clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments, physical exams, and diagnoses
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, splinting, and infection management
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
  • Prescribe medications and manage ongoing patient care
  • Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
  • Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Active and unrestricted PA license (state-specific)
  • DEA license required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Previous clinical experience preferred
