A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description
- Nephrology and Internal Medicine care. Physician Assistant
- Nephrology & Internal Medicine We are looking for a full time Physician Assistant to practice in our private office. We practice with great team work in a positive work environment making our patients as comfortable as possible and placing their needs first. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Providing general medical care and treatment to patients.
- Performing physical examination and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physicians.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
- Recording physical findings and formulate plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
- Discussing patient care with physicians in order to prepare and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Submitting health care plans and goals of individual patients for periodic review and evaluation by physicians.
- Prescribing or recommending medications or other forms of treatments to patients.
- May refer patients to physician for consultation or other specialized health resources for treatment.
