$120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Job description: We are looking for an experienced Orthopedic PA. You will be assisting in surgery two days a week and seeing patients in the office 3 days a week. You will be required to travel between three office locations. You will NOT be required to take ER call. Looking forward to hearing from you. Responsibilities Assist orthopedic surgeons during procedures by preparing equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring sterile technique. Provide pre-operative support, including wound care, suturing, and patient monitoring in pre-, intra-, and post-operative settings. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop treatment plans and coordinate care. Manage patient education, discharge instructions, and follow-up planning while tracking progress and outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation in EHR system and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards. Summary As an Orthopedic Physician Assistant, you will provide high-quality patient care in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and the health care team. Reporting to the supervising physician, you will assist with pre- and post-operative patient management, diagnostics, and medical treatment planning. You will apply advanced practice skills, maintain patient care standards, and utilize EHR tools and clinical protocols to support accurate diagnoses, timely interventions, and optimal recovery outcomes for orthopedic patients. In person Company Description Greater Orlando Orthopedic Group, is a busy orthopedic medical office, with three locations in Lake Mary, Oviedo, and Lake Underhill FL. We have three orthopedic surgeon's that performs a high volume of orthopedic surgeries weekly. All of our locations are opened daily with our mid-levels seeing patients when the surgeon is in the OR. This is a fast paced work environment, candidates must be willing to multi-task, and adapt to change as needed.
