Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and detailed medical histories to determine suitability for procedures. Assist surgeons during outpatient and inpatient procedures, including dermal fillers, dermabrasion, laser treatments, and other esthetic interventions. Administer injections such as Botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Manage preoperative and postoperative care, including discharge planning, pain management, and patient education on recovery protocols. Conduct diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging and laboratory data; document findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner. Support clinical research initiatives by collecting data, managing medical records, and participating in clinical trials related to aesthetic or reconstructive procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on acute pain management, triage of urgent cases, infection control measures, and emergency response protocols within a hospital or outpatient setting. Skills Extensive experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation and data management. Proficiency in injection administration techniques including Botulinum toxin treatment and dermal fillers. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, CPT coding for procedures, ICD coding for diagnoses, and HIPAA compliance standards. Critical care experience in hospital settings such as Level I or Level II trauma centers; ICU or emergency room experience highly valued. Skilled in physical examinations, diagnostic evaluation, airway management, aseptic technique, and vital signs monitoring. Experience with telehealth platforms for remote consultations; familiarity with hospital medicine practices including ICU care and post-acute care settings. Ability to perform suturing, phlebotomy, wound care procedures like dermabrasion or laser treatments; knowledge of radiation therapy or gastric lavage is a plus. Strong communication skills for patient education on topics such as family planning or nutrition; adept at data collection for research purposes.
