In this role, you will provide comprehensive evaluation, surgical management, and follow-up care for complex musculoskeletal injuries in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary trauma team, participate in call coverage, support quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to education while working in a mission-driven, innovative, and community-focused environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive orthopaedic trauma evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical management Manage inpatient and outpatient orthopaedic trauma care, including follow-up and rehabilitation coordination Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity hospital environment Participate in call coverage for trauma and emergency orthopaedic cases Document care according to regulatory and hospital standards Contribute to quality improvement, safety initiatives, and evidence-based practice Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment plans and recovery expectations Support resident, fellow, or APP education and clinical teaching as appropriate Required Skills Orthopaedic trauma surgery Fracture fixation and reconstruction Acute trauma assessment and stabilization Post-operative care and rehabilitation planning Imaging interpretation (X-ray, CT, MRI) for musculoskeletal trauma EMR documentation and clinical informatics Interdisciplinary collaboration in trauma settings Pain management and perioperative care Quality improvement and patient safety in surgical care Patient and family education in orthopaedic recovery
