Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Interventional Pain Physician Assistant/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our multidisciplinary pain management team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise in acute and chronic pain management, with a strong background in hospital and outpatient settings. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care, utilizing advanced assessment techniques and evidence-based treatment modalities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in improving patient outcomes through precise diagnosis, innovative interventions, and effective pain control strategies. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and review of medical history to determine appropriate pain management plans. Administer injections such as Botulinum toxin treatments and other interventional procedures following aseptic techniques and clinical protocols. Manage acute and chronic pain conditions utilizing pharmacological therapies, physical modalities, and minimally invasive procedures within a multidisciplinary framework. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patient needs. Document clinical findings, treatment interventions, and patient progress accurately within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Participate in clinical research studies, collect data for quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to ongoing clinical trials related to pain management innovations. Educate patients on pain management strategies, medication use in compliance with DEA regulations, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and quality of life. Skills Proficiency with EMR systems for documentation and data management. Experience administering injections including Botulinum toxin treatments; skilled in aseptic technique and injection administration. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, diagnostic evaluation, and medical terminology relevant to pain management. Critical care experience including ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure enhances clinical decision-making capabilities. Familiarity with CPT coding for procedures; ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9) for accurate documentation of diagnoses. Ability to perform physical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, and manage complex cases involving ventilator support or ICU-level care when necessary. Excellent client communication skills; capable of triage assessment in urgent care or emergency room settings; experienced in health coaching and patient education. You will function at the top of your license, focusing heavily on advanced diagnostics, pre- and post-procedural care, and performing autonomous, minimally invasive, image-guided interventions to restore function and improve our patients' quality of life. Core Procedural Responsibilities Perform Autonomous Interventions:

Conduct low-to-moderate acuity interventional procedures independently or under supervision, including trigger point injections (TPI), large and small joint injections, bursa injections, and peripheral nerve blocks.

Utilize Advanced Imaging:

Operate and interpret ultrasound-guided technology for precise point-of-care needle placement and diagnostic accuracy.

Neuromodulation Management:

Conduct patient selection, pre-operative planning, and post-operative programming for spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pumps.

Comprehensive Diagnostics:

Conduct targeted orthopedic and neurological physical exams, ordering and interpreting advanced imaging (MRIs, CT scans, X-rays) to determine precise procedural targets.

Clinical Responsibilities Patient Optimization:

Manage pre-operative evaluations to medically clear and educationally prepare patients for upcoming spinal and joint interventions.

Continuum of Care:

Oversee post-procedure follow-ups to evaluate treatment efficacy, manage recovery, and adjust functional rehabilitation plans.

Multimodal Treatment Planning:

Develop comprehensive care paths integrating physical therapy, regenerative medicine, and non-opioid pharmacological strategies.

Compliance & Advocacy:

Maintain precise electronic medical record (EMR) documentation in accordance with strict state and DEA regulatory guidelines.
