Pulmonary and Sleep Outpatient - Physician Assistant Newnan Piedmont Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Physician Assistant to join the Piedmont Pulmonary and Sleep office in Newnan. This is a full-time outpatient position.

Key Responsibilities:

Ambulatory care responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Functions as an independent provider in a busy Pulmonary office with MD s available to assist in evaluating complex patients as needed. Takes patient histories, conducts physical examinations, writes progress notes, and develops appropriate treatment plans. Orders and interprets laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures including Chest X-rays, Chest CT s and Pulmonary Function testing. Explains necessity, nature, and results of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedure(s) to the patient Piedmont Benefits include: Competitive compensation and benefits package CME allowance

Quality, Service and Reputation Minimum Requirements:

Graduate of a Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board
