Physician Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physician Assistant to join our primary care clinic. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across various medical settings, collaborating closely with our physician and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive treatment. Your expertise will help ensure optimal patient outcomes through thorough assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and effective treatment plans. Responsibilities Conduct detailed patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine health status and needs. Assist in diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory tests, and clinical research data collection to inform treatment strategies. Perform procedures such as suturing, dermal fillers, and airway management with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Administer medications, IV infusions, injections , and manage acute pain or ventilator support as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital settings—such as ICU, emergency medicine, trauma centers, or neonatal units—to deliver specialized care. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical coding (ICD-10/ICD-9). Participate in clinical research or clinical trials to advance medical knowledge and improve patient care protocols. Skills Extensive experience with EMR systems for efficient data management. Proficiency in advanced procedures such as catheterization, dialysis management, phlebotomy, and dermal filler administration. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Skilled in airway management, ventilator use, spinal taps, and acute care procedures within hospital environments. Critical care experience in ICU or Level I/II trauma centers with exposure to infectious disease care and post-acute care settings. Ability to perform triage efficiently in urgent care or emergency medicine contexts while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Experience with telehealth platforms to provide remote patient assessments and follow-up care.
