In addition to our comprehensive in-clinic services, we offer a range of signature supplements and products available online, making sustainable health accessible to all. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physician Assistant role based in Des Moines, IA. The Physician Assistant will perform a variety of patient-focused tasks, including assessing medical histories, performing examinations, and assisting in creating individualized weight loss and health management plans. Responsibilities also involve providing personalized counseling, educating patients on nutrition and exercise, and monitoring patient progress to ensure effective outcomes. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals will be essential to deliver quality care and maintain patient success. Qualifications Proficiency in patient assessments and medical history evaluations, with a strong understanding of weight management and related healthcare practices Effective counseling and communication skills to provide individual guidance and motivation Knowledge of nutrition, fitness, and health education strategies to support patient success Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused medical environment Organizational skills to document patient progress and maintain accurate records Licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Iowa Previous experience in weight management, public health, or a related area is a strong advantage Commitment to providing compassionate care and promoting positive outcomes for patients
