Job Description
Position Summary:
A Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed medical professional who provides direct patient care, diagnosing and treating illnesses under the supervision of a physician.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical exams, take medical histories and diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries.
- Perform minor surgical procedures, assist in surgeries and provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans in accordance with state laws and regulations.
- Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
Qualifications :
(List any required knowledge, skills, experiences or training, including length of time necessary for proficiency, required to perform the job.)- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
- Must me licensed to practice as a PA in the state of employment, which requires passing of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE).

- Quality control-the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality; ability to edit work for spelling and grammar and presents numerical data effectively.
- Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Dependability-the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
