To be considered for the position, candidate must live within 10-15 miles from New Lenox, IL.
Position Overview:
As a Physician Assistant in our dermatology clinic, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, working closely with board-certified dermatologists to provide a range of medical and cosmetic dermatologic services. We are seeking a PA who is passionate about dermatology and eager to deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history, physical exams, and diagnostic testing. Provide medical treatment and care for dermatologic conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer. Perform minor dermatologic procedures (e.g., biopsies, cryotherapy). Assist with patient education, offering advice on skincare and treatment plans. Collaborate with dermatologists on treatment plans, follow-ups, and referrals. Document patient interactions and procedures accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR). Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in dermatology and contribute to a continuous learning environment. Foster a compassionate, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for patients.
Qualifications:
Current, valid Physician Assistant license (PA-C) in Illinois. Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Experience or strong interest in dermatology preferred, but not required. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for patient care. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
