Works in concert with an orthopedist, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations.

Job Description

Exceptional orthopedics team in the Joliet, IL area is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team! Ideal candidates will have experience working in orthopedics, or other relevant fields, however the team is also open to training a local candidate who is interested in orthopedics. Enjoy a great schedule and work closely with a team of excellent physicians!
Responsibilities:
Full-time position - Orthopedics Monday-Friday schedule, part time available as well. Work mostly in the clinic setting treating new patients and same day patients See new patient consultations, follow up patients, post-operative patients Work with board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons Join a large team of existing physician assistants and nurse practitioners, along with excellent clinical support staff
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner Relevant experience in orthopedics Active Illinois Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License, or ability to obtain DEA License, or ability to obtain

$105,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
