Advanced Practice Provider, Emergency Department

Job Description Qualifications Qualifications:

Licensed to provide either advanced practice nursing services in the State of Illinois as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act OR physician assistant services as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certifications. One-year of Emergency Medicine experience or Fellowship training required. Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hospital environment while maintaining patient-centered focus. This is an hourly position. Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
