About Fort Wayne Radiology:
Fort Wayne Radiology (FWR) is an established, independent, physician-owned practice serving vibrant northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio for over 70 years currently comprised of approximately 30 radiologists. We are a transparent, democratic practice with collaborative management. The shareholders of FWR have no interest in selling the practice. FWR serves Parkview Health Systems, one of the fastest growing and successful healthcare networks in the Midwest. In a joint venture, we co-own the area's state of the art breast and PET imaging centers. FWR is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an energetic and collaborative environment, focusing on patient care within the hospital's radiology departments. Work will include onsite coverage at one of the hospitals within Fort Wayne- Randallia or Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Qualifications and Skills:
Clear, concise communication in person and over the telephone. Requires frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds unassisted, including assisting patients or in surgeries/procedures when required. Problem-solving Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and handle fast paced environment Critical thinking Ability to evaluate and treat all demographic groups: infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric Maintain confidentiality Excellent patient care Successful graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program Current Indiana physician assistant license Current Indiana radiologic technologist licenseBLS, ACLS
certifications Current Indiana Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)Number Current Federal DEA Number Benefits:
