The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse- Nurse Practitioner is an advanced practice registered nurse with specific education and training in the care of hospitalized patients. He/she is employed by St. Tammany Health System (STHS) for the purpose of coordinating care of hospitalized patients. The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
- Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with and under the supervision of the Lead Hospital Medicine physician and in association with members of the Hospitalist team in the evaluation, treatment, and care coordination of patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Curriculum must include didactic in clinical experience in Acute Care Current Louisiana Registered Nurse License (RN) Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Licensure in Louisiana (APRN) Eligible for limited prescriptive authority in Louisiana as approved by St. Tammany Health System Physician Assistant
Minimum Masters Prepared:
Curriculum must include didactic in clinical experience in Acute Care Current Physician Assistant Licensure in Louisiana (PA) Eligible for limited prescriptive authority in Louisiana as approved by St. Tammany Health SystemPHYSICAL DEMANDS
