Job Description

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is a well-respected, nationally recognized and award-winning public healthcare system, which receives recognition for clinical and academic innovation and community excellence. We have an excellent opportunity for a full time Physician Assistant to join our team within the Department of Orthopaedics. Our system serves the local community via two hospital campuses; an urgent care clinic and an integrated network of both primary and specialty care practices in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston's Metro North Region. CHA is a teaching affiliate of both Harvard Medical School (HMS) and Tufts University School of Medicine.
About the position:
Full time position: 40 hours per week, four 10 hour days Coverage across 3 locations; Cambridge, Everett, and Malden Duties include inpatient rounding, OR first assist, consults, and outpatient clinic assignments Call is 2 weeknights/month and every 8th weekend Fully integrated electronic medical record (EPIC) We offer a supportive and collegial environment with strong infrastructure and practice support. License to practice medicine in Massachusetts Excellent clinical and communication skills Strong commitment to and passion for our multicultural, underserved patient population Benefits and compensation: CHA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off (296 hours annually), medical/dental/vision insurance, 403b retirement plan with employer match, CME time and money, etc Full-time guaranteed base salary, based on experience, ranges from $117,000- $177,000.
