Job Description

Physician Assistant (PA-C)
New England Orthopedic Surgeons Location:
Springfield, Massachusetts New England Orthopedic Surgeons (NEOS), the region's leading orthopedic practice, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team of experienced providers. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated PA to train and work in a collaborative, fast-paced orthopedic setting. While orthopedic experience is preferred , new graduates are welcome to apply . The specific area of practice (e.g., hand, foot & ankle, total joint, spine, sports medicine, or trauma) will be determined following training and based on clinical needs.
Responsibilities:
Assist in providing orthopedic care across clinical and surgical settings. Conduct physical exams, evaluate injuries, and perform diagnostic assessments. Collaborate with physicians in both office visits and operating room procedures. Participate in patient education, pre- and post-operative care, and ongoing follow-ups. Document patient information accurately and manage clinical tasks efficiently. Participate in hospital rounds and provide support in call coverage as needed.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current PA-C certification (new graduates in the process of certification are welcome to apply) Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Massachusetts DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (or eligible) Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a high-volume, collaborative clinical environment Orthopedic experience is a plus, but not required
