Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Hospitalist Physician Assistant/Associate to join our dedicated hospital medicine group of 12 physicians and 9 PA's . In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive medical services within a hospital setting, ensuring high-quality patient care across diverse clinical environments. Your expertise will support acute and chronic patient management, facilitate seamless care transitions, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize health outcomes. Responsibilities Manage inpatient care across various units, including ICU, telemetry, and general medical-surgical floors with a high level of autonomy. Collaborate with medical and surgical subspecialists to develop and implement treatment plans. Support discharge planning by coordinating post-acute care services such as home health or nursing home transfers. Providing internal medicine consultation to surgical and psychiatric inpatients. Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, and basic airway management while maintaining aseptic technique. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and pharmacology principles. Ability to perform physical examinations accurately and conduct diagnostic evaluations using medical imaging and/or laboratory results. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate delivery of health care. Experience working within hospital medicine settings such as medical-surgical units and/or intensive care units (ICU).
Pay:
$117,953.00 - $209,616.00 per year
