Palm Health Resources is hiring experienced Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistants in Detroit Metro! 100% Cardiac Surgical Assisting ! 100% OR time! Work with highly skilled clinicians and respected colleagues, APPs proudly advance this standard of excellence. APPs are highly respected collaborators, working as a part of a cohesive team to ensure our patients receive exceptional care, while being committed to our culture of Putting Patients First. As the ideal candidate, you would have surgical first assist experience and strong clinical competencies. Must be able to function and thrive within a high-functioning team. The new provider's responsibilities will include assisting in the operating room (including endoscopic/open vein and endoscopic radial artery harvesting); rotating night call on weeknights and weekends. The candidate will also cross cover at nearby local facilities sometimes if needed.

  • Required Master's Degree or equivalent Graduate of AMA recognized PA program that is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for Physician Assistants and meet requirements of the state or Master's Degree in Nursing .
  • Previous First Assist experience is required.
  • Vein harvesting experience is preferred.
  • LIC-Physician Assistant or Nursing
  • STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire is required
  • CRT-DEA Registration
  • STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire is required
  • CRT-Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • AHA American Heart Association is required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • AHA American Heart Association required Or
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
