Position Overview:

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Medicine team. This role focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination of patients and their families as a first-line provider, providing inpatient and/or outpatient medical care as appropriate. The APP will work collaboratively with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently. Credentials:

 Education & TrainingPhysician Assistant (PA): Completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)Nurse Practitioner (NP): Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) LicensureCurrent licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, in the State of Michigan, or in the process of applying (proof of application required). 

CertificationPA:

Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

NP:
