100%Adult Position Overview:
Henry Ford Genesys Heart Center in Grand Blanc (formerly Ascension Medical Group) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its busy and growing Cardiology practice. This role is open to both NPs and PAs and includes inpatient rounding in collaboration with Cardiology physicians, as well as outpatient responsibilities such as clinic days, patient monitoring, and administrative tasks as needed. The position offers a dynamic mix of inpatient and outpatient care within a supportive, team-oriented environment and an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-established, high-volume cardiology program. Schedule- Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Monday
- Friday. 10-hours (APPs work 4, 10-hour days, per week) Weekend requirement

Qualifications:
- NP•Completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) • PA•Completion of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) • NP•Certification by a certification body recognized by the State of Michigan • PA•Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Licensure and Certification • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Michigan, or in process of applying (must have proof of application) • National certification as an NP or PA (e.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required by
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- DEA/CSL, required through credentialing. o DEA
- NPs do not have controlled substance licenses, only PAs. When NPs apply, they will enter MI license number instead of controlled substance license since they won't have a CSL. Experience
- Cardiology experience, preferred.
- Inpatient and Outpatient experience preferred. Skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
