The position involves primarily trauma hospitalist rounding, with potential ED consults, trauma activations, and procedures for those with surgical or trauma critical care experience. Work is in-house with no call responsibilities, averaging 10-14 patients daily (non-ICU) or 6 ICU patients, with ED/admissions ranging 2-15 per 24 hours. Responsibilities include responding to trauma alerts, facilitating discharges, managing admissions, and daily patient rounding, fully attending to all patient conditions. Requires active MN license, ATLS, PALS, ACLS, and a minimum of 1 year inpatient APP experience, preferably in trauma, ICU, or orthopedics. Preferred procedures include non-invasive ventilation, chest tube placement, central and arterial lines, and suturing minor lacerations. Compensation ranges from $130-$145/hour, with a flexible schedule up to 40 hours/week.
