Position OverviewRevivo Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and energeticPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA)to join our orthopedic outpatient clinic located in the heart of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions.
Utilize a variety of therapeutic exercises and modalities, including electrical stimulation and ultrasound, to enhance patient recovery.
Conduct patient assessments by monitoring strength, flexibility, and mobility, and document progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, providing emotional support and education on self-management techniques.
Maintain an organized and hygienic treatment space, ensuring all equipment is in optimal condition and ready for use.
Patient Population / Client FocusThis role is dedicated to serving a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from joint replacements, sports injuries, and post-operative care.
Our clinic focuses heavily on patient education and support, empowering patients to take charge of their recovery and maintain optimal physical health.
QualificationsABachelor's Degreein a related field from an accredited program.
Current or eligible for a Missouri PTA license, demonstrating your commitment to professional standards.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to connect with patients, fostering trust and rapport.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow complex treatment plans and effectively manage multiple patients.
Open to mentoring as we welcome new graduates who are eager to learn and grow within our team.
Preferred ExperienceA minimum oftwo yearsof experience working as a PTA, particularly in an orthopedic setting, is preferred but not required.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
