A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in the office setting. This role requires a strong foundation in clinical practice, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. We welcome PA's or NPs with experience as well as recent graduates to apply. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs Collaborate with referring providers Utilize our EMR system for accurate patient documentation Provide training and education to patients regarding their conditions and how to use their inhalers, epi pens etc. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records Keep up to date with the patient refill requests & necessary Prior Authorizations Assist with assembling medical records for medical records requests Skills Candidates should possess a diverse skill set that includes but is not limited to: Understanding of basic human anatomy Basic understanding of Allergy, Asthma & Sinuses as well as their comorbidity More than anything, a willingness to learn and cooperate and collaborate.
