Physician Assistant (PA) - Behavioral Health Pathways to Life, Inc. | Greenville, NC + Multi-Site Impact This isn't your typical PA role. Not even close. You're part of the clinical engine driving care for individuals with complex mental health needs. What You'll Be Doing (Real Talk) Conduct assessments that go beyond surface-level-understanding the full picture (medical + behavioral health) Manage and prescribe medications with confidence and clinical judgment Work side-by-side with psychiatrists, therapists, and care teams (ACTT, CST, IIH, TCM) Be involved in treatment planning-not just signing off on it Support high-risk members who need more than a quick visit Document your work in a way that stands up to audits (because compliance matters here) Why This Role Hits Different You're not isolated-you're part of a real team-based model You'll see the impact of your decisions on members' lives You're trusted to think, not just follow a script Every day is different-and yes, sometimes challenging-but never meaningless What You Bring to the Table Licensed Physician Assistant in North Carolina NCCPA certification DEA (or ability to obtain) Strong clinical judgment and comfort with behavioral health populations Ability to collaborate, communicate, and stay grounded in fast-moving situations Let's Be Honest for a Second This role requires: Accountability Strong documentation habits The ability to handle complex cases Comfort working in a team that depends on you But if that sounds like your kind of environment-you'll thrive here.
