Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Neurocritical Care Physician Assistant for a 91-day assignment in North Carolina, beginning Dec 26, 2026. This role involves providing critical care within a trauma center's Neuroscience ICU service, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a) to ensure comprehensive 24/7 patient care. You will collaborate closely with an established team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, and advanced practice providers. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive care within a Neuroscience ICU service in a trauma setting. Manage patients requiring ICU level care. Perform procedures including arterial lines, central lines, and lumbar punctures. Manage patient ventilation. Collaborate with an established clinical neuroscience team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, and advanced practice providers to ensure 24/7 coverage.
