Physician Assistant (PA) -
Outpatient Pain Management Clinic Locations:
Rockingham or Laurinburg, North Carolina Job Type:
Full-Time Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM to 12:00
PM Compensation:
$100,000 to $150,000 annually, based on experience An established and expanding Pain Management practice is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our outpatient clinics in Rockingham or Laurinburg, NC. Our team focuses on helping patients find long-term relief from spine and joint pain through advanced, minimally invasive treatment options designed to reduce or eliminate opioid dependence. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, innovative group that prioritizes patient outcomes, provider support, and work-life balance. Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions Perform comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations Develop individualized treatment plans and follow-up care strategies Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies Perform or assist with image-guided spine and joint injections Collaborate closely with physicians, medical assistants, and clinical support staff Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery expectations Practice Highlights 100% outpatient setting No nights, weekends, or call responsibilities Clinic hours: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Active North Carolina PA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure New graduates encouraged to apply Strong communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment Ideal Candidate We are looking for compassionate, motivated Physician Assistants who are passionate about improving quality of life for patients living with pain.
