Position Overview :

Physician Assistants provide essential healthcare services in correctional infirmary and healthcare unit settings, including intake assessments, sick call, care management, medication management, treatment planning, and other primary healthcare services. All Physician Assistant backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in corrections, addiction treatment, infirmary, urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, family practice, mental health, long-term care, or related clinical settings is helpful but not required. Professionalism, sound clinical judgment, and a strong commitment to patient care are essential. Requirements /

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an American Medical Association-approved Physician Assistant program or successful completion of the National Commission Certification examination.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working as a Physician Assistant within a clinical setting or equivalent experience. Work experience as a Physician Assistant in a correctional or institutional setting is preferred. Current

CPR/ACLS

certification is preferred and required within one year of hire.

Other Requirements:

Certification and current license as a Physician Assistant in the State of Nebraska. must possess a valid driver's license.

Travel & Relocation Options:
