An Orthopedics Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in concert with an orthopedist, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations.
4-5 days a week Includes Saturdays Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled Acupuncturist to join our fast-paced outpatient orthopedic practice . This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity to work closely with post-operative orthopedic patients, athletes, and active individuals , while collaborating daily with Physical Therapists and Orthopedic Providers in an integrated, team-based environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about musculoskeletal care, enjoys a high-volume clinical setting, and thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered model of care. Key Responsibilities Provide orthopedic and sports-focused acupuncture treatments for post-operative and non-operative patients Treat a wide range of conditions including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, joint dysfunction, and soft tissue injuries Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists, Orthopedic Surgeons, and clinical staff to develop and execute coordinated treatment plans Perform hands-on treatments tailored to each patient's functional goals and recovery timelines Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards Educate patients on treatment plans, expected outcomes, and adjunctive self-care strategies Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant treatment environment Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary case discussions as needed Qualifications Active state licensure as an Acupuncturist (or eligibility to obtain) Strong background or interest in orthopedic and sports acupuncture Experience working with post-operative patients preferred Excellent manual skills and strong clinical reasoning abilities Ability to thrive in a busy, high-energy outpatient setting Strong communication and teamwork skills Professional, patient-focused demeanor Schedule & Employment Details Full-time position Saturday availability required Busy outpatient schedule with consistent patient volume Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary Full benefits package , including: Health insurance Paid time off (PTO) Continuing education support 401(k) / retirement options (if applicable) Opportunity for professional growth within an expanding orthopedic practice Why Join Us Work in a dynamic, orthopedic-focused environment Gain extensive hands-on experience with post-op and sports patients Be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team Grow your skills in a setting that values evidence-based care and integrative treatment
