Job Description
The Per Diem Emergency Medicine APP, Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications Education:
Successful completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.Licensure & Certifications:
Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant License. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with computer platforms, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite. AHA Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.Benefits
