About theRole:
Virtua Reconstructive Orthopedics- OrthoExpress is seeking a part-time Physician Assistant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Physician Assistant will be responsible for Walk-in Care services, providing independent evaluation of patients, interpretation of imaging and laboratory studies, formulation of therapeutic and diagnostic plans, and referrals to other specialists and/or physical therapy.
- Physician Assistant will evaluate everything from sprains, strains, fractures, as well as some immediate postoperative concerns. Skills often performed include injections of knees and shoulders as well as some durable medical equipment (DME) application.
- Physician Assistant will treat a high volume of patients while maintaining high quality of care.
Qualifications:
- 3 years minimum experience in Orthopedics and/or Orthopedic Urgent Care required; Emergency Room experience a plus.
- Current NJ Medical License, CDS, DEA and appropriate Certifications
- Prior EMR experience required; Epic experience preferred.
