  • This position will begin as per diem/PT and transition into FT based on the needs of the candidate.

POSITION
Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Job Summary:
Responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic care including taking and reviewing medical histories, performing examinations, and developing an aesthetic treatment plan for patients under the direction of the Supervising Physician.
Education and Experience:
MINIMUM (3) years of experience in a Medical Spa/Plastic Surgery office as a NP/PA. Must possess an active and unrestricted NP/PA license in the state of NJ.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrates knowledge of cosmetic surgery, injectables, energy-based modalities, and other aesthetic treatments. Problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work as a team member. Well-organized with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Treats patients with respect. Empathetic with patient's needs and concerns. Works seamlessly with Supervising Physician. 1. Primary Duties Provides direct patient care as a representative of the physician, treating the patient in a style and manner developed and directed by the Supervising Physician. Performs cosmetic procedures in accordance with mutually agreed upon guidelines based on the Physician's delegatory style. Refers to the full scope of aesthetic practice when developing a customized treatment plan, taking into consideration the complexity and acuity of the patient's condition. Serve as the Clinical Supervisor, who works directly with the Supervising Physician and Practice Manager to hire and train new employees, manage ancillary medical staff, and develop protocols for services. 2. Secondary Duties Confirms with patients a clear understanding of their scope of treatment, goals and outcomes. Review with the Supervising Physician all patient treatments plans on a regular basis. Refers complex cases to the Supervising Physician without interfering with the patient's care. Maintains a working knowledge of all services performed by all providers, as well as knowledge on all skincare brands offered. Reporting pertinent information to the Practice Manager and Supervising Physician in a timely fashion. Other duties as needed.
