Neurosurgery Physician Assistant
Job Description
An established neurosurgery practice in Princeton, NJ is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join their growing team. In this role, you will work in a hospital setting four days per week, specializing in treating a full spectrum of brain, spine, and peripheral nerve conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside a team of Physicians and APPs specializing in brain and spine conditions (including brain tumors, Chiari malformation, concussions, head injuries, neuralgia, back pain, bulging/herniated discs, compression fractures, radiculopathy, spinal stenosis, sciatica, and whiplash)
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey State License
- Experience in neurosurgery, neurology, or orthopedics is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
