Job Summary Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) -
Full-Time Location:
Upper Hudson Valley Region, Upstate New York (2 hours north of NYC, 45 minutes south of Albany) About the Opportunity A progressive healthcare system in the scenic Hudson Valley is seeking a full-time Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) to join a collaborative surgical practice. This position offers the chance to work closely with a team of experienced surgeons and advanced practice providers in a supportive and patient-first environment. Position Highlights Primary Role:
First surgical assist for gynecologic and general surgical cases, with opportunities to assist in additional subspecialty surgeries.
Responsibilities Include:
First assist in surgeries Writing pre-op and post-op orders Supporting efficient surgical scheduling Rounding on inpatients Performing surgical consults in the Emergency Department and hospital floors
Setting:
Primarily outpatient with some inpatient responsibilities
Schedule:
40 hours per week
Call:
Rotating schedule, limited to emergent OR cases only
