Key Responsibilities Assist licensed Physical Therapists in developing and executing individualized treatment plans designed to meet specific patient needs and recovery goals. Perform hands-on therapy techniques, including therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, and stretching exercises tailored specifically for our orthopedic patients. Monitor patient progress meticulously and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, track improvements, and adapt treatment plans as needed to ensure the most effective outcomes. Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and post-treatment home care to help empower them in their recovery process. Participate actively in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient care. Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics while providing compassionate care to all patients. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population including athletes recovering from injuries, post-operative patients, and individuals managing chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Your approach will encompass individualized care that respects each patient's unique background and recovery needs, ensuring that they feel supported and motivated throughout their rehabilitation journeys. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program is a prerequisite. Current and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical orthopedic setting is essential. Strong foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and relevant medical terminology is necessary for providing effective patient care. Outstanding interpersonal skills to foster effective communication with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals. Preferred Experience Experience working in a fast-paced hospital setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems will be advantageous to manage documentation efficiently. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
USD 50,000
to 70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
