Position Overview The Physician Assistant will work directly alongside board-certified cardiologists in an outpatient setting, supporting patient care and gaining hands-on exposure to cardiology. Responsibilities Conduct patient evaluations, exams, and follow-up visits under physician supervision Assist with diagnosis and development of treatment plans for cardiac patients Review patient history, test results, and diagnostic imaging Collaborate closely with cardiologists and support staff on patient care Observe and assist with procedures at NYU Langone Flagship Hospital Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle management Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Qualifications Active Physician Assistant license in New York State Graduate of an accredited PA program New grads and mid-level PAs welcome — no cardiology experience necessary Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment Genuine interest in learning cardiology and growing within the specialty Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Outpatient private practice setting No nights, no weekends, no on-call
