Job Summary We are a neurology, orthopedic and pain management practice seeking a dedicated and energetic Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across a variety of clinical settings, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute to comprehensive patient assessments, medical treatments, and procedural interventions, ensuring optimal health outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills in acute and chronic care, diagnostic evaluation, and patient management will make a meaningful impact. Responsibilities Perform thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, intake evaluations, and medical history documentation. Assist in diagnostic evaluation by interpreting laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests such as radiology and ultrasound. Prescribe medications within scope of practice, adhering to DEA regulations and CPT coding standards for billing purposes. Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Maintain accurate medical records in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as eclinical works while ensuring HIPAA compliance and proper documentation of patient encounters.

Requirements Certification as a Physician Assistant from an accredited program with valid state licensure. Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus. Demonstrated proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding for billing and documentation purposes. Neurology and pain management experience prefer Ability to perform physical examinations accurately while employing aseptic techniques; skilled in diagnostic test interpretation and data collection. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health coaching, medication use, and discharge planning. Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis processes involving ICD coding (ICD-10), medical imaging interpretation, and clinical trials participation is preferred.
