A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Practice Urology in the Heart of the Adirondacks • Physician Assistant Opportunity Are you a motivated Physician Assistant looking to grow your career in a dynamic surgical specialty while living in one of the most beautiful regions in the country? Join our expanding Urology team at Adirondack Health, where you'll provide essential services to a rural community in need. Our dedicated team of experienced Physician's and Associate Medical Staff is ready to welcome a new member to expand our services. About the Role As our Urology PA, you'll work closely with our board-certified Urologist and be a key part of our patient care team.
Responsibilities include:
Office-based evaluations and follow-up visits Emergency department and inpatient consults Patient admissions and discharges First assist in the operating room, including minimally invasive and robotic procedures Participation in shared call coverage What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program NCCPA certification and eligibility for NYS licensure Experience in urology or surgical specialties preferred Excellent communication skills and a patient-first mindset Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary range: $125,000 • $145,000 commensurate with experience Productivity bonus potential Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, and retirement CME allowance and paid CME time Generous paid time off Why Adirondack Health?
